BUNKER TURRET
The Bunker Turret is an Automaton weapon system present at Automaton structures.
TACTICAL BRIEF
• The front of the Bunker Turret is covered in Heavy armor, while having a Medium weakspot on its back. Any Heavy armor-penetrating weapon, such as the AC-8 Autocannon and LAS-98 Laser Cannon, can destroy them effectively. Any anti-tank weapon can 1-shot the turret. Notably, the FAF-14 Spear is incapable of locking onto a Bunker Turret, as they are considered a small enemy.
• The RS-422 Railgun requires an 80% charge shot to destroy.
• The PLAS-45 Epoch requires a fully-charged shot.
• Damaging Grenades that have Heavy or above can destroy a Bunker Turret. Thermite can 1-shot Bunker Turret if it sticks to it.
• Both G-12 High Explosive and TED-63 Dynamite can also 1-shot Bunker Turret, but requires careful cooking of the grenade.
• Completing the Compromise Automaton Defenses optional objective disables the Bunker Turret's ability to target Helldivers, making it practically harmless.
• Bunker Turrets can also be destroyed by any of the offensive Stratagems or Emplacement Stratagems.
• Bunker Turrets have a limited range of around 150m. Using long-ranged weapons such as the APW-1 Anti-Materiel Rifle can destroy them from afar.
• The Turret's laser can severely damage or outright kill a Helldiver depending on their Armor Rating, and can damage the M-102 Fast Reconnaissance Vehicle, making this turret a high-priority threat.
• The Turret's barrel depression can unintentionally clip through its base, causing it to sometimes fire even lower than expected.
• Bunker Turrets can be difficult to spot at night or during weather events, especially within Automaton Fortresses. As they are considered a small enemy, they appear as a small dot on the radar, making them difficult to locate during an attack on an Automaton Fortress.
ATTACKS
Weapons and melee strikes this unit can perform. Each card shows the wiki's illustration, a one-line description, and the full stat table (Damage, Armor Penetration, Fire Rate, Stagger, etc). Values are passed through verbatim, so multi-line cells like "350RPM (2-Round Burst) / 1.2s (Between Bursts)" stay readable.
Often found in fortified positions. Fusion Falconets are a relatively uncommon anti-vehicle weapon, capable of penetrating medium armour or laying down explosive fire with ease. Albeit its slow refire rate makes it seldom seen outside of Fortresses
