The Conflagration Devastator is a medium Automaton that is part of the Incineration Corps subfaction, and is a variant of the Devastator, now modified to carry the same heavy shield as the Heavy Devastator and now rearmed with the deadly Conflagration Scattergun.
TACTICAL BRIEF
• The incendiary shots from the Conflagration Devastator's Scattergun deal a significant amount of ballistic damage. Combined with its relatively fast fire rate, this Automaton is deadly at close range. Helldivers should immediately go prone upon taking damage to minimize the burn effect, but should quickly reposition to avoid being caught at close range.
• Unlike Heavy Devastators, Conflagration Devastators do not have a backpack, so Helldivers must pursue other means of destruction.
• Shooting the Conflagration Devastator's shield with ballistic weaponry will deal no damage to it and the Conflagration Devastator.
• Explosives can stagger Conflagration Devastators, causing them to lower their shield and leaving themselves open, in addition to dealing some explosive damage. Shooting their shield with explosive weaponry achieves the same effect.
• Against the Incineration Corps, Helldivers can equip armor with the Inflammable and Acclimated armor passives to reduce their damage from fire. Inflammable and Acclimated Helldivers should still be wary of the Conflagration Devastator's shotgun, as it will not reduce its ballistic damage.
• A significant number of weapons can destroy a Devastator with a single headshot, such as the P-113 Verdict and R-63 Diligence, so precision is highly rewarded; this is especially so with the Heavy Devastator and their Incineration Corps variants. Their stomach and pelvis are still vulnerable to any weapon, but it is usually unfeasible for Helldivers to aim at due to the ballistic shield.
• Similar to other Devastators, the Conflagration Devastator's weapon can be shot off, which may be preferable if a Helldiver is unable to land a headshot.
ATTACKS
Weapons and melee strikes this unit can perform. Each card shows the wiki's illustration, a one-line description, and the full stat table (Damage, Armor Penetration, Fire Rate, Stagger, etc). Values are passed through verbatim, so multi-line cells like "350RPM (2-Round Burst) / 1.2s (Between Bursts)" stay readable.
Sometimes nicknamed the "Dragonbreath". The Conflagration Scattergun fires specialised incendiary shells rather than fusion bolts that saturate the target area in self-igniting pellets, inflicting grevious wounds alongside devastating third-degree burns

Perhaps befitting their violent temperament. Devastator-sized units are known to punch their foes. They often hit with enough force to crack helmets or even fully knock down Helldivers.
