DEVASTATOR
The ironclad Devastator seeks to crush opponents of the Automatons' totalitarian worldview with a diverse array of heinous weaponry: arm-cannons, arm-shields, arm-machineguns and arm-rocket-launchers.
TACTICAL BRIEF
• Devastator torsos are clad in Medium armor, but their head, stomach, and hips are notably Unarmored II armor. A significant number of weapons can destroy a Devastator with a single headshot, such as the P-113 Verdict and R-63 Diligence, so precision is highly rewarded. This carries some risk, however, as missed headshots will be deflected by their torso armor. Stomach shots can provide a more consistent method to destroy them. Their stomach can absorb more damage than other parts, but will quickly be destroyed if enough gunfire is put into it, killing the Devastator instantly.
• If Helldivers are unable to quickly kill a Devastator, staggering them while dealing damage is a reliable strategy. The most notable candidates for this are variants of the SG-8 Punisher. With sustained fire, the Devastator can be kept off-balance, preventing it from accurately firing its weaponry until sufficient damage or a more precise headshot can be landed. Helldivers can also shoot the Devastator's right arm cannon off to essentially make them helpless.
• The CB-9 Exploding Crossbow is excellent at destroying Devastators, as two shots to their torso will often kill them. Its explosion will also stagger Devastators nearby.
• Due to its high damage and large shot radius, the APW-1 Anti-Materiel Rifle is a good choice for quickly destroying Devastators, as it can quickly destroy Devastators with a single headshot. This also applies to the R-63 Diligence and R-63CS Diligence Counter Sniper.
• The use of explosive weapons on the hips/legs can rapidly deconstruct most Devastators.
• The LAS-16 Sickle and LAS-17 Double-Edge Sickle can efficiently destroy Devastators with shots to their head and legs, however their low accuracy can make them less reliable when in the heat of battle.
ATTACKS
Weapons and melee strikes this unit can perform. Each card shows the wiki's illustration, a one-line description, and the full stat table (Damage, Armor Penetration, Fire Rate, Stagger, etc). Values are passed through verbatim, so multi-line cells like "350RPM (2-Round Burst) / 1.2s (Between Bursts)" stay readable.
The staple of the Devastator unit's arsenal. This twin-barrelled Fusion weapon fires in steady 2-round bursts with significant stopping power, though its overall accuracy is left to be desired.

Perhaps befitting their violent temperament, Devastator-sized units are known to punch their foes. They often hit with enough force to crack helmets or even fully knock down Helldivers.

On account of their weight, most Devastator-sized units can simply crush structures, flora, and foes alike underfoot, more often than not clearing paths for lighter units to cross unimpeded
