REINFORCED SCOUT STRIDER
The Reinforced Scout Strider is an Automaton that is an upgraded, deadlier Scout Strider, protecting its Trooper pilot with additional back plating and enhancing its weaponry with four heavy rockets to accompany its heavy fusion repeater.
TACTICAL BRIEF
• Without its pilot as a weakpoint, the Reinforced Scout Strider is harder to kill than its open-backed counterpart. However, it is still very vulnerable to attacks on its Light armored rockets, which will instantly kill the Strider upon detonation. (This is currently bugged and won't kill the strider, but will greatly weaken the legs). These rockets have both the lowest amount of health of any critical body part as well as being 0% durable. This means that the rockets should be the primary target for the majority of weapons when facing this automaton.
• The waist should also be considered a target for helldivers possessing Medium armor penetrating weaponry due to its large size, moderate health, and lack of durability. This is a good option for Helldivers equipped with primary weapons such as the R-63CS Diligence Counter Sniper or BR-14 Adjudicator that can take out the waist quickly without having to aim at the smaller rockets.
• Even with all of the rockets expended, Light penetrating weaponry can still deal with the Reinforced Scout Strider, although slower than weapons with more penetrative power. This is due to the Light armored legs having more health than the waist while possessing 75% durability.
• Offensively, the Reinforced Strider is a much larger threat than its regular counterpart due to the side rockets. These will instantly kill any diver hit by one, with the sole exception of heavy Fortified armor unless the Helldiver is prone. Near misses are almost as deadly due to the 9-meter shockwave carrying a push force of 100. This will send any helldiver flying off at high speeds (even with the Rock Solid armor passive) to slam into terrain for often fatal damage. Helldivers bringing vehicles should take extra care of the rockets due to their extremely high durable damage making them do high damage to these vehicles.
• The rocket launches are telegraphed by the strider standing still and the combustion of the end of the rocket being launched. These rockets aren't very fast and can be easily avoided when fired from long distances away. At closer ranges, a helldiver should dive out of the way as soon as they see the rocket launch. The additional explosive resistance of going prone will be the only chance of survival.
• Given that its Trooper pilot is sealed inside, there is no risk of being ambushed after destroying the Strider.
ATTACKS
Weapons and melee strikes this unit can perform. Each card shows the wiki's illustration, a one-line description, and the full stat table (Damage, Armor Penetration, Fire Rate, Stagger, etc). Values are passed through verbatim, so multi-line cells like "350RPM (2-Round Burst) / 1.2s (Between Bursts)" stay readable.
A former emplacement weapon. The Heavy Fusion Repeater has exceptional stopping power, albeit at a considerably slower fire rate and poor cooling when compared to smaller Repeater-type weapons.

A general step up from the lighter ordinance used by smaller launchers. These heavy rockets are loaded with high-yield explosive warheads powerful enough to blow apart fortifications and destroy even armoured vehicles in a single hit.

While offensively devastating, the Heavy Rocket's payload is quite volatile as a whole. Even small arms fire is enough to detonate the warhead, destroying the walker entirely.

The Heavy Strider's legs are designed with mobility and grip in mind. They can also be used to clear obstacles by flattening bushes, barbed wire, or bodies if the situation demands it.
